Darren has over 35 years in the industry, having started out as an apprentice in the early 1980’s. He has gained extensive electrical knowledge and a background ranging from domestic installations, to high rise buildings in the commercial, medical and heavy industrial sectors.

His ethics of hard work and overseeing all projects has helped to build a company which has an outstanding reputation and is recognized as being a leader within such a fast paced industry.

Tanya has over 30 years experience in all things office related in the electrical industry, with the majority those years being spent at DT Electrical looking after accounts, payroll and office admin.

Tanya has a Diploma in NZIM Management, covering Marketing, Financial Services, Human Resource Management to name a few.

Simon started his working career as an apprentice in the West Midlands of the UK and gained key knowledge and experience in the Commercial, Industrial and residential sectors.

He made the move to New Zealand and joined our DT team starting out as an Electrician in 2011. Working his way up the ranks and is now General Manager.

His New Zealand portfolio includes prestigious jobs such as H&M, Gucci, Dior, Tiffany & Co and The Cordis Hotel Refurb.

Simon oversees all our major Projects and is a well respected member of our team.

Josh started with DT Electrical in 2015 as an apprentice. He has gained respect through hard work and the work ethics that only the best will do. 

Josh worked through his apprenticeship on some of the larger industrial and commercial projects that DT have completed.  

Once he had gained his NZ electrical registration, he has headed up his own team completing projects throughout the country.  He strives for knowledge and ensuring the client is kept informed and up to date on budgets and completion dates.

Dave has been with DT Electrical since member of our team working as one of our Commercial Install Project Foreman.

He has recently taken over the role as Service Manager overseeing our commercial and residential Service Maintenance.

Dave is a fully registered Electrician who completed his apprenticeship in the UK in 2003 carrying out Industrial Installations before moving on to work for himself doing domestic rewires, switchboard upgrades, central heating install’s, and solar PV installs. He is a highly experienced member of our team and is proving to be an excellent fit for our Service Department.

After becoming a UK qualified Electrician with a background in Domestic and Commercial Installation, Mark left the UK to Travel. He moved to New Zealand in 2016 where he started with DT Electrical as a Trade Assistant.

After completing his NZ Electrical Qualifications, Mark moved into a Site Foreman role, and from there, Project Manager where he managed some of our biggest Projects around New Zealand. These include Tauriko, Bayfair and, Westfield Newmarket Shopping Centre.

Mark overlooks an Electrical team on our larger Commercial Projects. He has a high standard of work and this shows with the quality of work that he hands over to our clients.

Ben started out his Electrical career as an apprentice in the UK in late 2008. His UK portfolio includes Hospitals and Heathrow Terminal 2b, Heathrow Airport.

After travelling, Ben decided to settle down in New Zealand in 2015 where he started out at DT Electrical as a Trade Assistant in 2016. After completing his electrical qualifications, Ben worked his way up the ranks within DT and, is now one of our Project Managers. He overlooks a team of our Electricians and apprentices in our Retail Fitout's throughout New Zealand.

Will has been part of the DT Electrical team for almost 16 years and currently holds the position of Senior Estimator, including management and office support duties. William is also known to join the team on terrain when the circumstances dictate.

Will is an NZ registered electrician, who has gained extensive experience in the domestic, commercial and industrial field for the past 30 years. Other attributes to his experience, is the installation, programming and service of various security systems brands, including access controls and CCTV.

Wendy joined the DT Electrical team back in early 2019 as a Junior Estimator. She was attracted to the culture at DT, and found that the close-knit team aligned with her values. She works collaboratively with Senior Management assisting with and preparing take-offs and cost estimates for our projects.

Wendy has completed a BSc Construction, majoring in Quantity Surveying from Massey University. She produces a high standard of work and shows a passion to deliver high quality outcomes with each project. She is also a whiz at using new software and is a significant asset to the team.

Rose has been with DT Electrical since late 2019, joining our team as a Project Administrator in our Contracts Department. She how overlooks all aspects in our Office Administration and Accounts Departments. With her extensive Administration and Accounts background, she is an integral part of our DT Electrical Team.

Rose came to DT Electrical after working 19 years in the manufacturing industry in a multifaceted role as a PA/Senior office Administrator and Accounts Assistant. She brings a wealth of administration knowledge and experience to DT Electrical.

Shiquay joined DT Electrical in early 2022 as a Junior Office Administrator. She came from a background in Retail and was new to an Office Environment.

Shiquay is a fast learner and has quickly become an Administration Superstar. Along with helping with our Administration needs, she also takes care of our Health & Safety Paperwork, our Socials and our DT Electrical Vehicle Fleet. She also helps out in other departments when required including, Contracts, Accounts and our QS Department.

Combining her character and quick skills, she fits in perfectly to the team and contributes to the positive work culture within our business.
